set the topshelf hight to 48px for best screen experience (illume config button -> Top Shelf -> Visible Gadgets -> (48))

copy the content of keyboards.tar.gz to /usr/lib/enlightenment/modules/illume/keyboards/* (if u want the tangoish icons)

if enlightenment doesnt recognize the local /home/root/.e/e/*/illume*.edj files, try to backup and overwrite the original illume files, located in

/usr/share/enlightenment/data/init/illmue_init.edj
